Why The Blog?
Given both the timing and lack of notice provided former Alliance Title Company employees, I thought it best to provide a central source for posting information and comments relating to its demise, along with tracking the situation of the other Mercury Companies to see just how this matter progresses. While there are a number of sites out there providing a great deal of information on the closing of Alliance, there really isn't a single location where participants can voice their views in a manner where they have no fear of repercussion. Hence, at least initially so long as there is no abuse, to allowing anonymous postings. Other sites where you can find information include:

I heard they filed BK last Friday.. Not sure if true or not. What about a class action law suit anyone interested ? I put in years of unpaid overtime and dedication for this??? No vacation pay , no commissions. No it is time to fight for what we are due. There is an attorney in San Rafael willing to take this case if anyone is interested contact him

It's too bad that a company started by a wonderful, honest, bright and caring man was taken over by a greedy son was trashed. When I read a blog noting how smart Jerry is I almost puked. I have known him and the family for over 45 years and never have a met such a selfish, egotisiical person as he. Granted he is the smartest of the 3 siblings but that is not saying much. The crowning blow was to hire his 3rd wife as the CEO! How tragic that decision was. They have both lost all of Paul's grandchildren's inheritance. They too have nothing from their Papa. Their was and never is any concern for anyone other than the 2 of them.
